ChemCon Asia 2019, Asia Chemical Control Conference, is a global platform which is focused on chemical compliance management. This conference brings together many experts representing companies, authorities and international organizations from over 30 countries. Some of them served as lectures to discuss global chemicals management, to help companies gain a deep knowledge into current state of international chemical legislation all over the world, the difficulties when implemented, focus of supervision, the trend and direction of future change, including up-to-date regulatory information on the Global Harmonized Classification and Labelling System (GHS), EU Regulations concerning the Registration, EvaluationAuthorization and Restriction of Chemicals (EU REACH), TSCA, K-REACH, and other national chemical management systems. It is a pity, due to heavy inspection tasks, no one from MEESCC participated in the conference as it used to be.

BoardingCard is a professional technical service provided company, with a rich knowledge of China’s chemical legislations and compliance experience. In this exhibition, we have face-to-face meeting with representatives and experts from many enterprises around the world, and have a deep analyze and discussion on China’s chemical management-related issues which enterprises care most. For China's new chemical management, the industry are generally concerned about the when the revised draft of Decree No.7 will come out and take into effect; if the requirement “Eco-toxicology test reports must include test reports completed in accordance with the relevant standards for the use of Chinese test-taking species in China” will be removed in draft of Decree No.7; The acceptance of QSAR, Modelling and Read-across by the expert review committee as well as if there will be any specific management measures issued by authority on supervising or punishing enterprises who fail to comply with the management requirements of Decree No.7, etc. It can be seen that the revised draft of Decree No.7 will be another focus of industry in 2019, following the Chemical Environmental Risk Assessment and Control Ordinance (Draft for Comments).

Thanks to the organizers, for building such a global chemical regulations and policies exchange platform, which attracted nearly 300 participants from various countries to attend and 19 consulting services companies to set booth here. Also express our acknowledgment to peers we have discussed and communicated with. Looking forward to the next meeting!
